Cleanfox is an inbox-cleaning mobile app that helps users get rid of unwanted newsletters and promotional emails and tidy up their mailbox.

Function: it scans the mailbox, lists newsletter senders and lets the user unsubscribe in a few taps.
For whom: people with crowded inboxes, especially those who use the same address for online shopping.
Why it matters: fewer unnecessary emails means less clutter and a smaller digital carbon footprint.
Platforms: available as an app for Android and iOS devices.
