Complete MyLead Guide - Smartlinks

On the Smartlinks page, there are a few options you can choose from.

Let’s go over each one of them.

Smartlink and A/B tests

This looks like the most advanced feature - you can create a smartlink and a A/B test in one!

So, click on the + Add button:

And you’ll see a form like this:

You’ll need to provide the name first. 

Then, search for the countries you wish to send traffic from:

Once you find them, select the country and then click on the green button.

Similar to when you are creating a new campaign in a tracker, you can also add multiple offers in flow here, and determine what % of traffic will go where.

A very interesting feature. 

There is also an option to add fallback (backup) campaigns (offers) in case your traffic doesn’t match the offers above.

At the end of the form, you’ll need to select the tracking domain. You can leave tracking parameters empty, since I’ll explain how to use those later.

Once done, click on the orange button.

And you smartlink will be ready.

Smartlinks list

Here you’ll find ready-to-use Smartlinks tailored for various niches.

For example, you could look for a CPI smartlink, which looks like this:

If you want to send traffic to this smartlink, just hit the Join the campaign button.

Shortly after that, you’ll see your campaign request has been approved:

If you open the details page, you’ll find the smartlink URL there:

That’s the URL you need to use if you want to promote this smartlink.

Smartlink

By using this tool, you can create your own Smartlink.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Enter the smartlink name

2. Search for the country (or more of them) where you wish your smartlink to work

3. Pick the country (or more) where you wish your smartlink to work

4. And then click on the + Add campaigns to selected countries

And then select the campaign you wish to add for the selected country. Of course, you can do this for other counties as well.

Scroll down, and you’ll be able to select the fallback campaigns (offers) so you don’t lose traffic:

It’s a nice feature which can bring you some additional revenue.

And in the last part of the form is where you select the tracking domain and tracking parameters. You can leave all tracking parameters empty here since I’ll explain in another post how to use them when adding smartlink URL to your tracker.

Once you are done, just hit the + Create a smartlink button.

And you smartlink will be ready immediately.

A/B test

A/B test sounds fun - so let’s give it a try.

Hit the + Add button and you’ll see a form like this one:

This tool basically offers you to run a A/B split test between 2 offers (campaigns) or smartlinks, like this:

Give you A/B test a name, search for campaigns or smartlinks that you wish to test, and then scroll down:

And click on the green button first.

Additional options for an A/B test will now be available.

Here you can even determine the fallback campaigns for desktop and mobile users (in case the campaigns/offers you’ve added above don’t support desktop or mobile).

Also, in this step you can select the tracking domain that will be used.

In the last part of the form, you can add your tracker’s tracking tokens.

Once you are done, click on the + Create an A/B test button.

You’ll get the tracking URL immediately, like I did:

Now you can start sending traffic to this URL and monitor the performance!
