Complete MyLead Guide - Tools

While I’ve explained the content lockers in my previous posts, there are still some tools under the Tools menu that I’d like to check.

Those are:

• Coupons and promotions

• HideLink

• Passage of offers

• Damaged links

Coupons and promotions

Not sure if  this is because my account is new, but coupons and promotions were empty for me.

Maybe @MyLead can let us know more about this?

HideLink

HideLink is an in-house cloaking system that allows you to omit getting banned on social media and advertising networks. Thanks to it, the life of your domains is significantly extended.

The HideLink system creates several elements, one of which is the so-called safe page. It is a landing page owned by the MyLead user - a page that every user who clicks on the link promoted by the publisher initially lands on. To use HideLink, you need your own domain and hosting. If a bot uses the link you promote, it remains on the safe page. A real user is redirected to the specific advertiser's page. There is no interaction with your safe page. This ensures that the links you promote have a much longer lifespan. Link cloakers like HideLink are especially recommended for promotion on social media and advertising networks.

To be able to use the HideLink option, first you’ll need to apply for a campaign and then you’ll be able to apply for the HideLink tool.

This is how to application for looks like:

You’ll need to give info on:

1. Describe how you want to use HideLink - provide more information on how to play to use the HideLink tool and why you even need it.

2. Where you want to share the hidden link - select the traffic source where you’ll use the hidden link.

3. Provide a link to your Safepage - you’ll need create a safe page for this tool, upload it to your server, and share the URL of that page here

And then:

You’ll need to fill out these fields:

• What monthly traffic will be redirected with HideLink? - select the approximate amount of traffic you plan to generate

• Estimate the monthly income from your campaign using HideLink - select how much money do you plan to earn by using this feature

• Enter the campaign for which you will use HideLink - you’ll see your approved campaigns here - select one campaign that you need HideLink tool for.

Once you submit the form, you’ll need to wait some time.

After some time, you’ll see a notification like this one:

Hit the + Add HideLink button, and you’ll get this form:

First, you need to select the campaign you’ll use the HideLink tool for.

And then, you’ll need to give your HideLink a name, a safe page (that crawlers will see), and select the traffic source you plan to use.

After that, hit the + Add HideLink button to save this.

And a new HideLink will be added:

Now, to use the HideLink tool, you’ll need to grab the PHP code. To do that, click on  the 3 dots in  the upper right corner, and select Show code.

A popup will appear:

You’ll see a PHP code here that you’ll need to download and place on your page. This code will handle crawler detection and show them the safe page if needed.

Also, you can pass additional tracking parameters to HideLink page if you wish, for example:

And that’s how you set up a HideLink tool for an offer.

Passage of offers

In the Passage of offers tool, you can create your own offer pages.

The Offers page is a free solution that allows you to generate a simple sales page without organizing your own hosting or website. You can place any affiliate programs you have been granted access to. Offers Page gives you the opportunity to promote several affiliate programs with one link. Thanks to this, you do not have to redirect the customer directly to the advertiser's website.

For you to create an offers page, first you need to be approved to run some offers (campaigns). After that, you’ll be able to add them to your offers page.

Click on the + Add an offer page and you’ll see a popup like this one:

Let’s go over the fields on this page:

1. Name - give your offer page a name

2. Additional options - you can turn on or off a few options here:

a. Show campaign name - if you want to show the offer (campaign) name on the offer page, turn this one

b. Show logotype - in case you want to logo to be visible also, turn this one

c. Division into categories - you can “group” campaigns into categories with this options

3. Campaigns - the list of categories can be selected automatically from your approved campaigns or you can select them manually. I’ll show how to select them manually. 

4. Categories - in case you select automatic campaign selection from the menu above, then you can filter campaigns by categories here.

5. Preview panel - all your changes should be visible in the preview panel on the right side, but strangely, that’s not the case for me.

If you want to select campaigns manually, select the 2nd option and then click on the Add campaigns button.

Select the campaigns (offers) you want to include on your offer page, and then click on the Accept the selection button.

After than, you can modify the theme appearance if you wish:

And once you are done, click on the + Add an offer page button.

Your offer page should be ready. You can show it on your website by using an iframe code or just by using JavaScript.

If you go back to the list of all offer pages, you’ll see your offer page here:

For each offer page, there is a field with total earnings and leads.

Damaged links

Not sure if it’s because I have a new account, but this section is empty for me.

TIP: Use the HideLink tool in case you need to cloak your links.
